I’m Laura! Your 5’3 blonde photog. I’m not just here to take pretty photos. I’m here to read the room, calm the nerves, fix the veil, hype you up when the dance floor needs it, and capture the moments you didn’t even realize were unfolding.
From your first inquiry to the final gallery delivery, the experience is intentionally seamless, thoughtful, and stress-free (no awkward silences, no wondering what’s next, no pressure to perform). I guide when needed, step back when it matters, and always keep an eye on the in-between moments. My approach is personal, organized, and deeply client-focused, without ever feeling stiff or transactional.
You’ll feel taken care of, genuinely seen, and maybe even surprised by how fun the process actually is. Great photos are the outcome. But feeling relaxed and present while they’re being taken is the real goal.

When I step away from the camera, life slows down a bit and gets a little messier, in the best way!
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually in full mom mode, bouncing between being social, chasing kids, and running on strong coffee … or a dirty martini when the day allows (or requires it). I’m very Type B in my house, and proudly bad at meal prepping or planning dinners more than a few hours in advance. Cabin trips, time with family, and spontaneous plans are my comfort zone, and when I get the chance to sneak north, I love agate hunting along the North Shore. I literally could do it for HOURS.
At home, I’m all about binge-worthy shows and true crime with my husband, playing with my kiddos, and carrying someone over my shoulder mid-tantrum like it’s part of the routine (because it is). Add in our very cute pup, Luna, and that mix of calm, chaos, humor, and real life is exactly what shapes the way I show up — both at home and behind the camera.
